How I Got Over 565 Subscribers In 7 Days
It is true. It really happened. And I am going to reveal exactly how I did it. It was a piece of cake too. Honestly, it was super simple. The terrific thing about it is that you can do it too. I will not sugar coat anything or inflate statistics. Just my process of how I did it.Want some really good news? I have actually done it 3 times now to see if it works consistently, and it does, but this is a case study of my first attempt at this.
HANDS UP WHO WANTS TO MAKE REAL ONLINE INCOME
They say that necessity is the mother of invention. Well over 8 months ago it was necessary that I start making decent money online. My “hours in” column heavily outweighed my “income out” column and it was time to get the balance going the other way.
I was beginning to get sideways glances from my beloved and the children had the eye roll going whenever they walked in the room. BTW, this has stopped since my income went northward.

Back in January of ‘07 I got involved with a guy called Jonathan Leger. Jon had just released his new tool called $7Secrets. What he did was write short 20-30 page reports on popular subjects.
He then used the PHP script that he developed to sell these reports for $7. Now, a couple of things happened here.
1. To know Jon is to realise that he is one switched-on dude. He has been in the Internet Marketing game for years and he knows his stuff.
He recognised that those that wanted to make money in the IM niche craved information. So he started writing cutting edge reports giving relevant useful information.
He also understood that affiliate sales were perhaps the easiest way for beginners to start making money until their understanding developed.
So, lets say John Doe buys a $7 ebook about “How to build a list”. He is happy. He is getting great info that will kick start his IM career. What he can then do is, because of the script Jon developed, is append his Paypal address to the end of the url that he bought the list building book from.
Doing this enables John Doe to start making $7 payments directly to his Paypal account instantly. No waiting until the end of the month for payment.
Why would anyone give away 100% commisions you ask? Simple. Jon’s script is a list building machine.
Depending on how the website is structured, you can include a subscription box on the download page. Subscribing will let the buyer get lifetime updates or regular notifications about JV’s coming up or some other great information.

2. Getting paid $7 for a short 20-30 page report full of relevant information is great in my book. Getting paid on the OTO is better. I’ll be honest here. I have sold only 513 of the $7 reports. I have had over 50% buy the OTO. Over 270 One Time Offers that varied in price from $14 up to $37. That is the magic of this script.

SO WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
I have been a member of www.resellitforprofit.com for 2 years now. Mike Barcus, the owner, supplies quality products that can be sold on to others hence the name. He has a shipload of quality items on his website and I loved getting an email from Mike telling me there were new products available for download. I ended up with quite a few on my hard drive. Most I used for personal use but others I edited the sales page provided and sold the product using the $7 script.
Sales were good as per my OTO statement above but I thought outside the box.
What if I offered a bundle of products for a relatively low price? ($9 to be exact)
What if I then offered those that purchased, a chance to do the same?
They can get a website identical to mine except that when someone clicked on the purchase button, it went to that persons Paypal account, not mine. I handled every aspect of the transaction. All they did was recieve money.
But I had a challenge. Remember I said that you can put a subscription box on your download page? That sounds great but you are only getting buyers on your list.
This is what I did.
I created an ebook that outlined the whole procedure of getting payments into your Paypal account. It was a 14 page book giving exact details.
To get the ebook, people had to subscribe. Bingo, I was building a list before anything happened. It also helped to have a catchy name for the ebook. I called it the Greatest Money Making Ebook Ever or www.greatestmoneymakingebookever.com I’m sure some of you have read it. In fact I know some of you have purchased from it.
In A Nutshell
Here is how I did it point by point. Keep in mind that I am telling you this so that you can go and do what I did. 
1. I joined www.resellitforprofit.com This costs nothing. Completely free.Joining from this link gets you a Gold membership with access to many quality, in-demand products that you can resell. I have since upgraded to the V.I.P level because it gives you access to a greater variety, most with PLR attached but the Gold membership is fine to start with.
2. I bundled 15 of these products together and offered them at a bargain price of only $9.00. All the products are in the Internet Marketing niche and cover a range of subjects within the niche.
3. I bought a domain name, www.greatestmoneymakingebookever.com , at a cost of just under $10 from www.godaddy.com . I already had a hosting account through www.HostGator.com so that wasn’t an issue.
4. I bought the $7Secrets script from Jon Leger. Understand here that I knew nothing about installing scripts but a truckload of guys over at the $7Secrets_Forum did. It was super simple when I had help from there.
5. [NOTE] I set it up a tad different here. I did not want people coming to the site and reading what I had to offer then leaving for ever. So I created an ebook outlining the procedure. This basically made the visitor download the ebook onto their computer to read it. Doing this keeps the ebook in their thoughts permanently.
You might be wondering how others can append their paypal address to a downloadable ebook. They can’t. What happens is that once someone purchases from my ebook, I create for them a seperate website indentical to mine but the payment link in the ebook goes to their Paypal account. The subscribe box links to my account getting me free subscribers and the owner of the site gets $9 payments. A true win/win situation
6. I bought a fantastic piece of software called eWriterPro to make the ebook. Actually, this ebook you are reading now was made with eWriterpro, as are all my ebooks. It is a word processor allowing you to write, edit, insert hyperlinks etc, then with the push of a button, you have a neat looking pdf ebook.
7. I included three 3rd party bonuses as well. These were free-to-join courses from people such as Liz Tomey. Once a person signed up for the free course they were offered an OTO. Affiliate sales from these programs have contributed nicely to my income. Consider this when putting your package together.
In Conclusion
I understand that not everyone has money to buy scripts and software and domain names and hosting etc. I’ve been there, done that.
