Giant Food Stores and Martin’s Food Markets Tuesday announced additional manufacturer product recalls in conjunction with the salmonella outbreak involving peanut butter and peanut butter paste products. Consumers are encouraged to return these items to the store for a full refund.

The following items have been removed from store shelves due to this precautionary product recall:

• Clif Zbar Peanut Butter Organic, 7.62 oz., UPC 72225219202. Customers may contact Clif Bar & Co. at 1-800-254-3227 with any questions concerning this recall.

• Health Valley Granola Bar Peanut Crunch, 6.1 oz, UPC 3574215483. Customers can contact Health Valley Consumer Relations at 1-800-434-4246.

• Nature’s Path Organic Optimum Peanut Butter Energy Bar, 2 oz., UPC 5844977715. Customers may contact Nature’s Path customer service at 1-866-880-7284 with any questions.

Other peanut butter-based items that have been removed from Giant and Martin’s store shelves over the past several days include Little Debbie Toasted Peanut Butter Crackers (7.44 oz, UPC 2430004163), Little Debbie Peanut Butter Cheese Crackers (7.44 oz, UPC 2430004115), Keebler Toast & Peanut Butter Crackers (11.04 oz, UPC 3010047357) and Keebler Cheese & Peanut Butter Crackers (11.04 oz, UPC 3010047324).
